Our story

Choco-Mango was founded in 2001 in Val-d’Or (Quebec) by Olga Coronado Mijangos, an entrepreneur from Guatemala, arrived in Canada over the last twenty years. Passionate by chocolate prestige, she manufactures all handmade chocolates, with a commitment to excellence.

With a course in business administration, has always interested chocolate and sweets, she comes from a family who worked in the industry sweets.

Her father built the first major confectionery in Central America. : Fruit jellies, fruit or candy with anise and chocolate covered almonds have her childhood … It is also her father who gave him the pleasure of a job well done, rigor, creativity, as well as the desire to communicate and share her talent to turn.

To satisfy her desire to learn more about chocolate and its different manufacturing techniques, it has successfully completed all the courses of the Academy of chocolate Barry Callebaut Canada, St. Hyacinthe (Québec), head of World leading product designers to cocoa and chocolate products of superior quality, which form the best chocolate in the world. With her teachers, with an international reputation, she learned techniques and professional tips that make all the difference.
